Eduardo Paolozzi Plaster Sculpture

Sir Eduardo Paolozzi K.B.E. R.A. H.R.S.A. (Scottish, 1924-2005), cast plaster model of a Vespa/Lambretta scooter.

Provenance: Toovey's antique and fine art auctioneers, 20th Century Design sale, 13th September 2019, lot 4237. Part of a collection of Eduardo Paolozzi plaster models.

Measures 27cm long and is in good overall condition with a few typical moulding faults. There is one internal hairline within the front wing which makes the front section rattle slightly when tapped.

Signed and dated 1995, inscribed in pencil ‘For Alex’.
