King George Vi - Original 1937 Royal Coronation Chair Stool, Limed Oak & Velvet

CORONATION CHAIR

A King George VI limed oak Coronation chair with velvet upholstered seat and back, the back bearing the royal cypher for King George VI and the frame stamped ‘GR VI Coronation’. 
Measures approximately 85cm (h) x 50cm (w) with wear and patina as consistent with age and use. The velvet has faded and the joints are a bit loose. Please refer to illustrations.
