Golden Hind

A Royal Mint sterling silver model of the ‘Golden Hind’, mounted atop of a wavy sea detailed base and mahogany circular plinth.

The silver model ship is in the form of an Elizabethan 16th century galleon named the ‘Golden Hind’. It was captained by Sir Francis Drake and the ship is best known for its circumnavigation of the world between 1577 and 1580. Issued in a limited edition of only 250 of which this is number 42.

Hallmarked silver London.

Measures approximately 13cm high and is in good overall condition. Please refer to illustrations.
