Our Most Unique Pieces This Quarter – A Rundown

Here at PM Antiques and Collectables, we cater to all Surrey antique collectors looking for something special to add to their collection. Here are a few interesting favourites from this quarter, that we have currently for sale.

 

Philip Gray – ‘Into the Blue’

Philip Gray

Are you an ocean lover? This ocean floor landscape by Philip Gray (Irish, b.1959), is perfect for you if you are passionate about the aquatic world. With hues of cerulean and amber, this piece titled ‘Into the Blue’ is in good condition. It is an embellished canvas on board that is also framed.

This piece is unique as it was issued in a limited edition of only 195, of which it is number 14. It measures approximately 54cm x 36cm and the frame 70cm x 53cm.

There are a few storage marks to the frame, however it is Signed and numbered with certificate of authenticity verso, which signifies it’s value. You can currently buy this piece for £300.

 

Coalport Queen Hatshepsut Figurine

This beautiful Coalport figurine ‘Queen Hatshepsut’ is a unique and eye catching edition to any collection. Measuring 26cm high, she will reign over your antique pieces. In sparkling condition without any detected chips, cracks or restoration.

This figurine was issued in a limited edition of 1250 of which this is number 415. Also, it is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and printed factory marks to the base. Currently for sale at £200.

 

The Beatles – Cavern Club Brick 

 

The dream for any die hard Beatles fan – this is an original brick from the Cavern Club in Liverpool. It includes Royal Life plaque which reads ‘This is to certify that this is one of 5,000 bricks which Royal Life have salvaged from the original Cavern Club, Mathew Street, Liverpool, England’. 

Unique in nature and irreplaceable, it is dated 1983 and with printed signatures of the founding owner of The Cavern & Royal Life General Manager. The brick itself is perfect for Surrey antique collectors as it is in good condition and is supplied with an original Royal Life pamphlet. Measuring approximately 24cm x 10cm, it is for sale at £670.
