René Lalique (1860-1945), ‘Naiade’ (Large Mermaid), glass mascot No. 832, introduced as a statuette in 1920 and used as a car mascot from 1925.

Signed ‘R Lalique’ to the side of the tail in moulded uppercase lettering, and also signed ‘R Lalique France’ to base in engraved lowercase script.
Measures 13.1cm high and is in good overall condition. The head has some professional repolishing and a hairline manufacturing blemish. Typical surface contact scratches to base. Please refer to illustrations.
