‘Tête de Coq’

René Lalique (1860-1945), ‘Tête de Coq’ (Cocks Head), glass car mascot No. 1137, introduced on 3.2.1928. Clear and frosted finish.

Reference: Marcihac no.1137, p.499. Weiner p.35.

Correctly signed ‘Lalique France’ in moulded uppercase lettering to the plumage.

Measures 17.5cm high and is in very good overall condition with some apparent professional repolishing to the comb and minor surface contact scratches to base. Please refer to illustrations.
