Contemporary Art & Modern British Paintings Go On Sale
Works by some high-profile names of the Modern British Contemporary Art market are now up for sale at premier retailers PM Antiques & Collectables. Featuring Doug Hyde, Duncan MacGregor, Kerry Darlington, Timmy Mallett and Emma Davis.
Founder Phil Mires, commented: “There is no doubt that the appeal in contemporary art and Modern British paintings is reaching new heights. We aim to keep our finger on the pulse of market trends, subsequently making high-demand collector’s items readily available to our clients. With around 50 newly listed artworks now available we have tailored our range to accommodate budgets across the board.”
Prices vary between £50 and £1,000, but topping the collection is a large oil on board by Duncan MacGregor (British, b.1961), entitled ‘Calm Breeze’. The image measures 46cm x 92cm and is signed on the front by the artist with monogram ‘DMAC’.
Another noteworthy piece is a heavily embellished artwork by Kerry Darlington (British, b.1974), entitled ‘Faerie Glen’. Issued in a limited edition of 295 of which this example is number 219.
